M = Money

At home

A 50c piece, quite heavy in one's purse, so they usually get removed and stored each time
I go shopping. This particular one was minted in 2010 and represents "Australia Day"
I have others representing other events, e.g., the Olympics, the Australian Coat of Arms and
another with an important ship and special date.

Canon EOS 40D ,Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8
1/100s f/5.6 at 90.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

If that date is 1770 and the ship starts with an "E" and has a replica down at Darling Harbour (which you really must visit if you're ever over here; it's a true eye opener), I have a couple of copies of that coin as well. Along with most of the other ones, including some of the original round 1966 models. Good to see another $0.50 collector in the ranks.
