A Spotted Turtledove, thanks Lou!
There were a pair perched on the bower in the rose garden, but the other
one flew off when it saw me coming with the camera.

Like Lou said, we have lots up here too. They are very shy. Ours gather what the parrots drop from the feeder so are always pecking around the garden floor. Lovely capture, Von.

Very nice Yvonne! We have lots of these, but I find them rather wary. I think it is a Spotted Turtle Dove!
