An important rose in the evolutionary cycle of breeding as it was one that
was chosen to blend with the European roses to attain roses that would
bloom for a longer season. This particular rose it is thought is the
rose that the old song -'tis the last rose of summer - was written for,
surprising to us, as my bush blooms the whole year round!

There is a climbing version, but mine is a bush.
