This little iris has formed quite a large clump and nestles at the feet of my Vanilla rose. At this time of year a few flowers bloom continuously for many weeks. One has to be there when they flower, as the bloom is partly hidden by the tall strappy leaves. If I remember - it is best to cut the leaves back in late autumn, they won't regrow before the flowers appear, then the flowers can be seen, and they're not such a shelter for the snails and slugs.
