1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. After its 1958 Introduction as the Bel-Air Impala, Impala replaces Bel-Air as the top of the line series in the all new Chevy for 1959. GM shelved its original plan to carryover the new body shell introduced in 1958 after the public sensation over Chrysler's finned cars. GM had some memorable fin designs of its known as clearly shown in the rear view of this '59 Chevy convertible.
