Tia is right -- you merge the person's head with the horizon, which creates clutter and confusion. If the person was seen against the white sand, it would have been a more evocative image.

What would it be like if you have captured the main subject a little bit more above the horizon. What I mean is the effect of the subject high above or under the horizon, this is inbetween...
