There's a new museum for all of you tired of the usual art galleries and church scenes in Venice Italy.

The Museo del arte erotica was opened early this year and is situated just a few steps from the more sacred San Marco.
Home to Casanova and other honorable courtesans, where better to house such a collection???

Over 4 floors where you can discover the darker side of Venice.
Sexuality, sensuality,transgression and the search for Eros
all under the roof of this palazo which is situated in Calle dei Fabbri.

We passed this museum several times but never ventured in.
The museum has a shop on the street which at first glance
just looks like an ordinary shop with some unusual souvenirs.

Gazing in the windows, it takes a number of seconds to register what you are actually looking at!!!
One to be avoided when accompanied by small children.
