Camera Obscura in Mülheim is a museum within a former water tower.
The museum shows the development of technology for animated pictures before the invention of cinematography.
There are lots of old instruments and objects, like caleidoscopes or the laterna magica.
On the top level of the tower is the biggest camera obscura of its kind in the world.
On the projection table you can see everything razor-sharp within a distance 13m away from the tower up to the horizon.
