Today we wanted to hit the trail and decided on a 6 mile loop hike. We started at the Cub Lake Trail head, continued to Cub Lake, then on to The Pool, then along the Big Thompson River and down to the Fern Lake trail head. A shuttle bus would then take us back to the vehicle. It was a great hike with some beautiful scenery. Here's a bit of what we saw along the way beginning with a view up the Big Thompson River.
