We had planned to cruise up Trail Ridge Road up to the Alpine Visitor Center today and stop at all the overlooks along the way. We actually did start up the road, but at the 2nd pull off Cindy suggested we consider Fall River Road instead. She had been here twice, but hadn't done this drive yet. We now had a new plan. Fall River Road is a one way gravel road that kind of parallels Trail Ridge Road and ends at the Alpine Visitor Center. We could then cruise back down Trail Ridge Road. We had just passed the turn for Fall River Road, so it wasn't out of the way to take it. This scene was just as we made the turn towards the road.
