It would have been too much of a hassle to get all of our camping gear shipped out for the short stay, so we stayed in a hotel about an hour from the park. We got to the hotel around 3PM, unpacked our stuff, then grabbed our camera gear and headed to the park. Since we didn't have much time, we decided on Bear Lake for the late afternoon shoot and a possible sunset.
