Temperatures in this area - and over a lot of the country - have been abnormally low for quite a few days now. On several days the temps never got above freezing, so I thought I'd head over to the Pisgah Forest today to see how frozen some of the waterfalls would be. It was 22° when I left my house. My first stop was Looking Glass Falls since it's right next to the road. I really thought there would be more ice than this, but it was still pretty. The lower viewing area looked rather slippery, but I went down for a look.
