A shot of the pan after about the 1/2" bit. I needed over 3/4" to fit the pipe. After I finished drilling, I used a wire wheel on a drill at the area around the hole to clean it down to bare metal so the JBweld would stick. I then dumped a gallon of mineral spirits through the hole to get the shavings out through the drain hole in the bottom of the pan.
