byron used to go fishing on the reakwater with me kelly and pat when there were no waves...those lobsters were off the beach along a sewer pipe that ran out of the pavillion... lobster john told us about them he was a strong as bull waterman who would walk with a cane and go out and get those bugs..

I hear ya I met Byron this past summer at Venice break water He was cool with me and is coaching me to become a better surfer Venice rules! and you guys are cool even if it takes a while to get accepted. The CLOUD break that breaks about 200 yards out to sea at the breakwater (when its really BIG surf) Is called Byrons reef.. After him

is that one of those infamous breakwater lobsters ? people use to swear there were huge lobsters this size or larger at breakwater back in the days
