I am uncertain of the age of this terminal elevator in Thunder Bay, Ontario, but I would guess it is in its 80s. The remarkable part - it is still used. (Maybe not all 1.75 million bushels though.)
I spent a full twenty-four hours in Thunder Bay, which used to be Fort William and Port Arthur, shooting its terminal elevators as I travelled to Ottawa. At one time the area's capacity was over 100 million bushels.
