From last Tuesday night.
Yesterday I got my ruptured tendon fixed in my right thumb.
They made a tendon transfer, moved one of the tendons in my index-finger to my thumb.
I was supposed to have local anesthesia, but it didnīt work so I got general anesthesia instead.
Now I have my hand in a plastercast again.
This time I can only use three fingers, īcause the hand is in a strange angle not to stretch the new tendon.
And Iīm on sickleave until February 28. The cast will come off January 19 but then thereīs rehab.
The hand is pretty achy now and I got some nice painkillers so Iīm "floating"around a bit ;o)
Donīt get much sleep but got a nap or two today.
I guess it will ease up in a day or three. So not much computertime the coming days.
