| OBJECT OF CATCH THE MOON: The object of Catch the Moon is to collect the least number of tears. NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2 to 6 players MATERIALS: A rulebook, 7 tears of the moon, 1 special moon die, 1 base board, 30 stacking ladders. TYPE OF GAME: Dexterity Board Game AUDIENCE: All Ages OVERVIEW OF CATCH THE MOON Catch the Moon is a dexterity board game for 2 to 6 players. The object of the game is to take turns staking ladders and to collect as few moon tears as possible. SETUP The starting base is placed in the center of the play area on a flat sturdy surface. Then two of the three straight ladders are added to the inserts of the base. The remaining ladders are placed nearby. The first player is chosen or determined randomly. GAMEPLAY Starting with the first player and continuing around the table clockwise, players will each take their turns. On a player’s turn, they will need to place a ladder onto the structure but will need to roll the die to determine how their ladder will need to fit into the structure. There are three options for placement. If one ladder is rolled on the die the ladder placed by the player must only touch one ladder in the structure. If the die shows two ladders the ladder placed by the player must only touch two ladders in the structure. If the moon is rolled the player must place their ladder so that it is the tallest ladder in the structure. It may touch one or two ladders but no more or less. To place a ladder the player will randomly draw a ladder from the remaining ones to the side of the play area. Then they must follow their die roll to determine their placement. As long as the player does not let go of their ladder, they may move their ladder around to feel out placements. Ladders may move around during this but must not touch the base or ground in any way or the player’s turn is over. If the player is successful in placing their ladder correctly then their turn is passed. If a player is unsuccessful and their ladder is not placed correctly, or other ladders fall off the structure the player must take a moon tear. All ladders that fell or if your ladder was not placed on the structure are removed from the game. The only ladders that cannot be removed are the two starting ladders. END OF GAME The game ends when either the last ladder is 메이저토토사이트 on the structure, or when the last tear is taken by a player. The player who takes the last tear is eliminated from the game and cannot win. The player with the least number of tears is the winner of the game. If there is a tie all tied players use any remaining ladders to place on the structure. Any mistakes cause a player to be eliminated. When the ladders run out any remaining tied players are the winners. For a two-player game, the player who collects 3 tears first loses and the other player is the winner |
