Herb garden is the right place to grow herbs such as basil, rosemary, fennel, and thyme which can be used for cooking or grilling. Unfortunately, insect pests such as aphids, white lice, mites, and beetles also like herbaceous gardens and can eat all of your beautiful plants if their development is not addressed. The following are some ways to prevent pests:

- Buy beneficial insects to be raised in herb gardens. Useful insects such as ladybugs, mealybugs, and praying grasshoppers can kill pests and maintain garden balance. These animals will not eat herbs and make it easy for you to keep out insect pests. You can buy beneficial insects from the internet or garden supply stores. Remove insects at night, right after you water the garden. Thus, insects will remain in the garden and eat existing pests.

- Attract the attention of beneficial insects to your garden naturally. Place a cup filled with gravel and water in the garden so that ladybugs and mealybugs are attracted to come. You can also place small flowers near the herb garden so insects come to get nectar and roam the dean of the garden so that they can kill other pests.

Always wash and rinse the herbs before use or consumption. This is important to remember, especially if you use insecticides to keep pests away.

If you use an insecticide, make sure you observe its exposure to yourself, children, and pets. When using insecticides, make sure you wear protective clothing and gloves and store them in a dry, cool place. If you want to buy insecticides to kill insect pests in your garden, look for organic products that contain natural ingredients. Avoid products that contain harsh chemicals because these products can affect the overall balance of your garden and make your plants dangerous for consumption.
