2015+ Ford MUSTANG ECOBOOST Oil Cooler Kit Installing Guide Photos

Today we're going to install the ECOBOOST Direct Fit oil cooler kit on our 2015 ford mustang EcoBoost.

Tools needed for install include :.

- Five-and-a-half-millimeter socket,.
- Seven millimeter socket.

- Eight millimeter socket,.

- Ten millimeter socket,.
- Six inch long quarter drive,.
- Extension quarter driver cog,.
- 13 millimeter socket,.
- Three-inch-long 3/8 extension,.
- 3/8 cog,.
- Five-inch-long half-inch extension,.
- 27 millimeter socket,.
- Half inch ratchet flathead screwdriver,.
- 3/16 allen crucial aluminum,.
- Ten wrench oil filter wrench and a torque wrench.

The actions:.

1 ) Raise the vehicle to remove the bolts and clips to loose the bumper. After that, unclip the harnesses to the turn signals light, fog light and headlight;.

2 ) Separate the air shutter and remove the oil filter. Install the sandwich plate with an o-ring, connect the sandwich plate with an adapter;.

3 ) Connect the sandwich plate hang on to the oil lines and tighten the fitting. Route the oil lines around the intercooler;.

4 ) Attach the oil cooler and brackets to the vehicle, attach the oil line stay in between the front sway bar and radiator shroud;.

5 ) Reattach the air dam to the front of the vehicle, route the air shutter arm around the front crash meat the air shutter arm will reattach to the clip on the front air dam, place the front bumper in front of the vehicle. Reconnect the 6 wire harnesses to the turn signals headlights and fog lights, reinstall the front bumper make certain the bumper clips into the slots by the headlight.

Inspect the oil, now that you've installed your new ECOBOOST a direct fit a little cooler kit, double-check that all your connections are tight and take the car for a test drive.
