A normal tournament is going to have a set limit on the amount of money that can be placed into the pot, and it is known as the"pot".

When you enter into a tournament you will be split into groups of four. The last kind of betting in a poker tournament is known as an"all-in". In an all round, the participant who raises the most chips wins. This player has to have all the chips available to wager. In Texas Hold'em, if a player has all of the chips at their disposal and folds all of their cards (such as their last two pairs), that player loses the pot as they're out of chips. If a participant has all the chips no cards left to play with after two rounds of betting, this player is declared the winner.

When you sit down at your desk, don't forget to always examine your opponent's body language.
