My family -- kids, grandson, and close relations -- keep me connected, caring, and real. My 16-yr-old grandson Israel stays with me about 3 days out of each week and he and I are very close (even in his adolescent teen years) and we have had many adventures together, combining exploration and photography. My daughter Rebekah, Israel's mother, also is active in photography, using a Canon S3 IS superzoom point and shoot in many creative ways. My son Joshua hasn't yet been bitten by the photo bug...

Since starting this page, Rebekah is using a Canon 400D XTi DSLR, and Joshua is using my old Canon 30D, so they've both picked up interest! My grandson Israel preferred to use my now-defunct Canon Point and Shoot (SD630) but since it died he has been known to shoot with my Canon 5D and 1D Mk III. Watch out world!!
