"A" blushing monkey

Monkeys were once being closely related to HIV/AIDS among other animals.
Even though they were known to be associated with AIDS originated from Haiti.
It may be just a rumour or a myth. However, Hindus treat them as a sacred animal. They also have made a substantial contribution to mankind as monkeys have been used extensively for biological, medical and psychological research.
ˇ§Once we were also the first to be launched into outer space in rockets.ˇ¨ Monkey replied proudly. ˇ§Our faces turn red just because of the mating season is here.
We monkeys are not shameful!ˇ¨
Hopefully, my photograph can speak for itself, besides capturing the colour, texture and expression of a running monkey, it also expresses the feeling of anti-discrimination, equality and love from a friendly and playful blushing monkey. Furthermore, I would like to see more people learn and care about the AIDS virus with more consciousness and compassion through this artwork.

Location: Kam Shan Country Park, Hong Kong.
Also called ˇ§The Monkey Mountainˇ¨. Approximately 12,000 Rhesus monkeys, at least more than 5 different species habitat at the Shek Lei Pui Reservoir. This location is truly a joyful haven for all animals and plants which is under the protection of the government and the worldˇ¦s environmental groups.
Medium: 6x9mm medium format film camera.
