This 1939 Rolls Royce Wraith Limousine was built orginally for an Indian Maharajah but the outbreak of World War II prevented its shipment to India.

In May 1944, the vehicle was requisitioned and assigned to General Bernard Montgomery and taken to Normandy during the invasion. Monty used the car throughout the European Campaign and during the susequent occupation.

This car has also been used by King George VI and by Winston Churchill, as well as US Generals Dwight D Eisenhower and Omar Bradley.
