I think maybe this photography lark has brought out a less than nice side to me. The previous night when we had our first view of the lights I was so excited to see what I had captured that when the clouds came over at 23:30hrs I scuttled back to my room. School boy error. A number of the group stayed out and were later greeted with an even better showing. Come the second night we went away from the hotel to another location to avoid light polution, and on returning at 00:30hrs everyone disappeared to their beds. Not me this time, still hurting from the night before I went out to the old lighthouse in the hotel grounds - I had a display all to myself - just for me - nobody else:-) !!
