Small Town Parade

Wisconsin

Eden, Wisconsin annual Fireman's Parade was held today. The light is always bright and too contrasty, because it starts at noon, but it is fun to watch the children and see the patriotic participants.

Wonderful Americana! Love the kids on the curb! :)

Lots and lots of atmosphere here Cindy.
l love the kids in the foreground and on the far side.
And as a clarinet player, l'm amused to see the little lady
carrying her clarry in the shoulder-arms position almost like a rifle.
Lovely shot.

I've been very happy with my NEX-7 performance in harsh light. It looks like the Alpha 77 is equally competent. Nicely done Sony, and Cindy!

Perhaps bright is good - captures the lively-ness of the occasion

For such harsh light, you have done a fine job indeed.

You controlled the lighting situation very well, Cindy. And you certainly captured
the feeling of the small parade!
