Memorial Day Parade

Wisconsin

The Memorial Day Parade was heartwarming, as always. It is a wonderfully patriotic event honoring veterans from all wars.
This vintage fire wagon from Rosendale, Wisconsin was a new addition to the parade this year.
I usually manual focus, but I recently picked up an autofocus vintage Minolta lens for $65 that really worked well for me today.

Sony Alpha NEX-7

Love this, Cindy! So many things to looks at in this - Looks like the
right-hand draft horse might have a few things to say :)))

Great framing including the on-looker perfectly framed and certainly spot on focus

Looks great. I guess I have to start collecting vintage
lenses to use with my NEX7. All I have is those blasted
Canon ones.

PS And l've always been a fan of Minolta lenses. (Now Sony lenses, l believe)
This one certainly is marvelously clear and 3 dimensional.

Beautiful team and fire wagon, probably the Campfire Brigade.

Thanks, nightwings. The water-tank looks hardly bigger than a couple of buckets. Scary thought that they had to put out your fire.

Nice piece of history, doesn't look as though they could put too much water on a fire however.
