Dave and I had a fantastic week in the Apostle Islands of Wisconsin and the Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Michigan. The weather was perfect and the scenery was amazing. This shot was taken from our motel deck in Copper Harbor. Beyond the harbor is Lake Superior. You can walk the beach and see individual stones down in the water...it is so pristine. We could sit on the deck and view 1000 foot ore boats pass by. They were about 5 miles out, but still presented a good view.
