Lake Havasu view

Lake Havasu City, AZ

We arrived in Lake Havasu today. The weather in Arizona is very unsettled. The roads around Flagstaff are closed due to snow and ice. It is raining in the desert; usually sunny Lake Havasu is blanketed in clouds and cold air. We are going to be here for the next couple of months, so I enjoyed taking this shot from our balcony, because I won't see clouds like this every day. The water in the distance is Lake Havasu (damned Colorado River). The mountains in the distance are in California.

Thanks, everyone for the kind comments.
Terry, LOL, Thanks for pointing that out. I can't quit laughing about that typo.
Jeff, the Lake portion is 3 miles by 45 miles, Those mountains are at least 3 miles away and probably further.
Andrea, This will be quite a change in weather for your friend. It is really a beautiful spot.

Wow Cindy what a view, I'd never be off the balcony.
Enjoy your time there, and keep posting shots like this.

This is very nice, Cindy - wish I was there, even though you are having mixed weather.
BTW, the Colorado is 'dammed' not 'damned' or maybe both :)

Spectacular view, Cindy.
I would be shooting this every morning while making coffee...
Great to see you're in a place where you'll avoid all the serious mess in the midwest.
Keep firing off these panoramas..

That is a brilliant view to have from your balcony. Have heard about bad weather in SW USA, but have to say it does'nt look too bad just there. How far do you reckon those mountains are in the distance?
