Oil Wagon

Wisconsin

This was the type of oil wagon that would go from farm to farm delivering kerosene and #1 fuel oil. This one was found in an old barn in the early 1970's There was still kerosene (or #1 fuel oil) in the compartments of the tank, when it was found. Time had turned it black, so the owner had it restored to its original "Standard Oil Co." green color.

Most interesting Cindy as is the vintage pre 1930's car behind.
This Fireman's parade is quite something.

Thank you, Peter, Bob and Michael.
Michael, No beer truck...but they did pass out candy, icicles, cheese, ice cream sandwiches and bubbles. Beer comes later at the Fireman's picnic.

So, where's the beer truck/cart??
It must be a blast living up there, Cindy...at least, THIS time of year.
Think I'll stay here in the winter!
