This was one of a compact flock of 6-10 birds picking up bits of dry wild oat stems from a recently mowed open area. I didn't realize I had this flight photo until I processed my images at home, and I'm assuming that it too is a Violet-green; all the birds that I could identify in the flock were of that species.
