Right side eye 1/14/10

This right side eye had been much better than the left side eye until 4 days ago. It is now very red with prominent blood vessels coming up to the edge of the cornea. The eye has rapidly become cloudy at the same time. The Dr says though that the area of the corneal ulser is looking better and that it seems to be trying to heal albeit very slowly.

Poor thing! I hope Maddies eyes are better now! I have an exotic cat with what appears to be a mild ulcer on one of her corneas. She also had a resp infection recently where she was sneezing a lot and had a clogged nose. She was put on antibiotics and appeared to get better...then the eye issue began.

I wonder if the steriod drops that she was on worsened her condition? From what I have read you should never use steroid drops on a cat with eye ulcers. It worsens the ulcer. Anyway, I hope she is better!
