Close-up of the weird painting. |
Pieces of material descended down upon the crowd in a purple haze. |
Slung inside the material were these weightless-looking women. |
The women were enveloped in the cloth like they were in hammocks. |
A female figure who was in a voluminous hoop-skirt. |
She had to be a drag queen! |
Another voluminous hoop-skirt guy was in drag. |
His arms were raised as if he was casting a spell. |

Victor was riding with a troupe of musicians. |
Victor was looking at the throngs of people. |
At the "Just for Laughs" festival, Victor is alway at the center of everything! |
Victor's wife Rose came up behind him. Maybe she wanted to try on the shoe. |
There were lots of other motley characters nearby. |
 Dancing girls among mannequins. |
The audience was lapping it up! |
The stage was filling up with smoke, which added to the festive atmosphere of the evening. |
A woman on stilts wore a pink "Cat in the Hat" hat. |
Suddenly, white pods descended from the sky like extraterrestrials. |
They weren't pods after all. They were angels! |
The angels took on a purple hue. They were holding torches. |
A boy and girl with green light sabers. |
Interesting murals in the windows of a building. |

She looked kind of nutty and kind of slutty! |
 A close-up of leopard girl. |
She was a real crowd pleaser from this guy's reaction to her! |
A leopard-clad woman on stilts who looked like an antebellum southern belle. |
Another woman on stilts who looked like she worked in a bordello! |
A chic woman on stilts with a rose dress and hair. She looked a bit like Cher. |
This funky boy and girl made a cute (but odd) couple! |
Strange musicians at the "Just for Laughs" festival. Don't you love the buck teeth? |
An unusual sign that depicted a dog with crossbones (I don't know what language that was). |
A billboard that resembled Dick Cheney with a hat (thank God, there wasn't a shotgun)! |
A colorful collage that was at the "Just for Laughs" festival. |
This looked like a kite depicting Jim Baker, the phony religious evangelist. |
Depiction of the President of Iran, Ahmadinejad, in an arm wrestling contest. |
Another Dick Cheney look-alike with cartoon characters on his hat. |
If you threw the ball in the right spot, this clown got dunked in water. |

Some nimble and dexterous jugglers who were at the "Just for Laughs" festival. |

The man holding the hoop did the jumping. |
An "over the top" clown who was at the "Just for Laughs" festival. |
He had everyone in stitches. |
Close-up of the clown with an admirer. |
 He was clowning around. |
He got right in front of my camera lens. |
The highlight of the evening was the human cannonball. |
He was getting ready for his performance. |
The cannon was redirected upwards. |
He climbed into the cannon. |
Everyone waited with baited breath for the cannon to fire. |

This man was blowing his plastic trumpet to announce "the World of Victor" (the mascot of the "Just for Laughs" festival). |
Drummers who commenced the outdoor stage show, which was the "Grand Finale" of the evening. |
The show was as lavish as a Broadway production. |
These pink stumpy figures reminded me of the talking trees in the "Wizard of Oz." |
Do you think she injected collagen in her lips? |
The M.C. (Master of Ceremonies) in green with the stump girls. |
The M.C. reminded me of Joel Grey in the motion picture, "Cabaret." |

The real M.C. was Victor, the mascot of the "Just for Laughs" festival. |
Victor was mixing it up with the chorus girls (I am sure he loved every minute of it)! |

She was twirling around as well. |
Note our clown friend in the background who was watching her spin. |

A mannequin of Whoopi Goldberg was in the middle. |
Shoe people, although, not Imelda Marcos. |
They looked like Dorothy's ruby slippers. |
An androgynous boy who was on the stage. |
Robotic-looking alien invaders who joined the production. |
They did a nifty dance routine together. |
I was waiting for them to kick up those robotic legs like the Rockettes do! |
A space alien did a "twist and shout' number. |
This caused robotic applause from one of his fellow aliens. |
Since the robots were not very limber, the chorus girls did the Rockette kicks, instead. |
The M.C. joined the fray out on stage. |
Victor also got into the act. |
Rose, Victor's wife joined in. |
The big-lipped stump girls were there, too. |
The denouement of the show ended with everyone taking a bow. |
Confetti dropped onto the stage. |
It was a superb way to end that day's "Just for Laughs" performance! |
