King Bitta deva's daughter was possessed by a demon and due to the grace of swAmi bhAskyakAr she was cured. The king was inspired to convert from Jainism to Srivaishnavism and came to be known as Vishnuvardhan. This is the sannidhi where swAmi bhAshyakAr is said to have defeated 1000 jains in the debate by taking a 1000 headed adhi sEsha form and simulatenously replying to the jains from behind a screen. Here swAmi is in the gnAna mudra posture without the thirdandam which is very unique. Sri Nrusimhan is in the yOga mudra form and this sannidhi is said to have been consecrated at the same time when Sholingur sannidhi was consecreated.
