29-DEC-2002 John Tucker

Toronto on Ice
by John Tucker

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Haven't had a Sony for quite some time, but I really wish I'd have held onto my DSC-S75. With its Carl Zeiss f2 lens, it turned out to be quite a formidable little picture taker! Considering the advances in digital photo sensors in the last three years, I'm still very happy with these shots. Alas, I sold it to raise some $$$ for lenses when I got my DSLR. Toronto is a fun city to photograph and to visit in general. No tripod for this shot, I ended up using a flat surface and the self timer.

John - i like your perspective here with all the buildings towering over this little oasis of humanity as it were. I assume thats some sort of open skating rink - cant really tell very clearly with this exposure? Thanks for digging this up.~gk
