John, the spitting gargoyle is the crown jewel of gargoyles, IMHO. While I have seen this view in period photos from decades gone by, I did not know it was still possible to obtain this view. Your interpretation far surpasses anything I have ever seen. My thanks for this very special treat. -Michael

Fremiet, I like the forlorned and petrified gaze of this gargoyle. ..he's warded off a lot of evil spirits in his time :) Nice perspective high atop the populous city...very effective in B&W. Good idea...well taken. MFC

Not to worry,. With his attitude (he is sticking his tongue out at the world, isn't he?) he looks more than able to handle whatever comes along - including photographers :-). I like the conversion to b&w, John; it seems to emphasize a thoughtful - or almost melancholy feeling. Bev
