I have been fascinated with the idea of hiking from Mexico to Canada along the Pacific Crest Trail(PCT) since the early 90's. In 1992, I completed my first section hike with a friend and read a book by Cindy Ross about hiking from Mexico to Canada.
In 2005, I was blessed with the opportunity to step away from society for five and a half months and take a long walk along the Pacific Crest Trail. The PCT travels along the Cascade and Sierra Crest and the trail tread covers 2,668 miles. The trail travels through 7 national parks, countless wilderness areas, and gains and loses over 85 miles of elevation.
