The Annual Day Zero Pacific Crest Trail Kick Off 2008

A Fantastic party held at the Lake Morena Campground in San Diego County.
This year marked the 10 year anniversary of the event, and a great time
was had by all. This initially was an event designed to offer support
and encouragement to the current years' thru-hiker hopefuls. I think the
kickoff still supports that function, but it also does so very much more...
It is the one time and place each year where former hikers can gather and
socialize with other hikers who understand this compelling need to wander...
