The position you stood of the figures was well planned and the dark figure against the light back ground and the reverse of the other is great

Galina Stepanova21-Sep-2006 16:25
Genre portrait, characteristic to situation 'lost' expressions.
I like the almost drawing effect you reached.
Guest 21-Sep-2006 14:12
Wow! I really like the color version much better. Great capture. Like something from a movie (they can't be real!). I love the way the guy in the back is just starting off into space. Brilliant! Vote!!
Guest 21-Sep-2006 11:25
sitting in the light of their dappling tree...the foregound gent reminds me of Al Pacino....I like how he is gazing blearily into his own world while his companion is expounding on his own visions to who knows who...
Ronny Van Eeckhoutte21-Sep-2006 07:56
This is a poignant photo showing well an aspect of life not easy to show. You captured him with great emotion. I like it. :-)V

Guest 19-Sep-2006 00:09
Wow...this is a superb image with fantastic treatment, IMHO one of your best Chris, huge vote on this one (even if the one guy is a Sean Penn lookalike, lol)
Cindi Smith18-Sep-2006 23:41
Fantastic candid shot. Yeah, the guy on the right resembles Sean Penn. Very moving! V
Guest 18-Sep-2006 23:35
I must still be burned out with the film biz...
The fella on the right has shades of Sean Penn. The guy on the left
is driving them somewhere, if only in his mind. The blind leading the blind.
and the bandaid will keep in all the pain.
Great shot. v

Audrey Reid18-Sep-2006 20:21
PERFECT :)The square crop works well too.
Audrey Reid18-Sep-2006 19:36
On closer look, both their eyes are pretty spaced out - go, go, gone :)
The contrasting background gives the 'pop'. Good urban capture Chris.
