Shooting the Wukoki Ruins in the Wupatki National Monument is hard to do if you stay on the trail as strongly requested. This is the best shot I could muster from off the trail. There are a few other shots I would like to try come winter. It is about 10-15 minutes before sunrise with the pre-dawn sky in the east the only light source. It is a very warm light source and helps bring out strong saturated colors.
