ANTICS

Sometimes a photo doesn't have to reach technical perfection, it just needs to tell a story.
(can you tell I am really just trying to convince myself?)
Such is the case with this photo.
I was in the woods with friends yesterday focusing on the conversation and not the dogs
when a friend shouted "oh my god, Liza check it out"
I looked up to find my puppy had climbed this fallen tree. I barely had time to get my camera focused before she leapt down.

She's so damn cocky

Glad you were quick....this is a winner. Sweet Jiggs is a crackerjack, that is for sure.

I had been considering a pup for a little while . . .the vet indicated it might be too stressful for my Old Girl . . sort of like an aging grandparent suddenly having to put up with a tempestuous teenager . . . .for some it makes them young again with all the energy around, for others it drives them to an early grave. The suspicion for My Girl is the latter . . . .

Yup, youngins' are cocky that way. And not every photo should be technically perfect. Otherwise, "perfect" ones wouldn't be any different than anything else. Make sense? Well, it did when I thought it. I'm gonna go have dessert now. :-)
