The lower half of this is a scan of
the back of the photo. I don't read German so
if anyone can tell me what is written here I would
appreciate it"
A little digging tells me that this is the set of
"Nur am Rhein," a 1930 German film. The Walter Lichtenstein
stamp on back led me to that conclusion as he was the still
photographer for that movie.
I am intrigued here by how my Uncle appears much
like a soldier in a foxhole, no?
