Wanda "A Long Way to Go" bw 01_16_08.jpg

Today the temperature dropped, it was cloudy and the wind was blowing hard. We went for a hike in the desert this morning and then just went exploring in the car this afternoon. This is somewhere near the Utah border looking down into Arizona. We were 20 miles down some dirt road wondering where and when it would hit another paved road. Wanda climbed up on those rocks and the wind was blowing so hard she was worried she might fall, so she sat down.

Bravo…once again you have proven beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Excellent composition, if I didn’t know any better I would have bet the cat,
dog, and, the Lady friend the picture had been taken in the Sierras of Northern
Spain. (Bill, Wanda, don’t be shy were are the rest of your golden Photographic
Treasures Stashed?) (Just kidding.)

Awesome shot. Put a tether on that wife of yours. We don't want to lose her in some random canyon.

Amazing shot Bill!!!! These western valley and mountain shots are just amazing, especially during the summer when you get all the vibrant colors. Looks nice in B&W as well.

And Wanda is fabulous as ever.... Jv

I can see the headline now: Beloved model killed in freak photography accident, mourned by millions. I know you like to give your all for your art, but please do be careful when you're out in the middle of nowhere.

A little tribute to Ansel Adams, Bill?

I visited this area with my American wife two years ago, on a long road trip from LA to Denver. We loved every moment of it, the scenery is outstandingly different, and inspiring. I took a lot of very similar photographs but, strangely, the ones including my wife did not turn out the same as yours - I love it how in yours Wanda's clothes become optional at times, making it even more exciting. Could I ask you to speak to my wife?
