Wanda Doing A Little Cheese Cake 10_01_06.jpg

Classic Cheesecake photos and Pinup Art often had an element of surprise and embarrassment: the secretary catching her skirt on a file cabinet, a house wife with her skirt lifted by an oven door closing, the little girl in the Coppertone ad with her swim suit being tugged on by a dog. This was the kind of look we were going for here.

Every girl has to squat in the bushes from time to time.

Here Wanda has been caught.

This is wonderful! Life can really be full of fun. Thanks for sharing. It would be a pity if you can't feel the joy and art delivered by the photos here.

Fantastic, i think you've hit that genre right on the spot. Would love to see more of this, you should find some inspiration in the works of the great pin-up artist Gil Elvgren.

VeryMarried,

No, I don't get hate email, just the occassional scolding comment posted here from time to time, and when I read those I just think to Myself, "if ya don't like it, don't look!" All the emails I have received have been from very supportive, funloving, nonjudgemental , nonprudish, secure people.

I left My wedding ring home because I don't wear it when I cycle and I did some cycling on this trip. The cycling gloves make it pinch Me, and sometimes the fingerless gloves actually push the ring down a bit and when My hands are tingling from road vibrations, I often shake them, I almost shook My ring right off one time! So, I leave it in a safe place whenever we are on the road and I know I will be cycling.

Wanda:

I would say that it seems obvious that all of the bike riding has done wonders for you, but I can't, because you already looked that good before you started with the marathon biking. Do you get hate (e)mail from all of the other grandmothers for making them look bad? :-) By the way, did you lose your wedding ring in those bushes? (I can't beleive I even NOTICED your hands in that picture. I must be getting old!!!!)

Was this in Yellowstone? I'm wondering (hoping) that we'll see like 25 different versions of this shot on other photog's galleries, not that theres anything wrong with this one, but other angles might be nice. The Fall colors look glorious, as does Wanda as always.

Definitely caught in the act...
The suprise and look are there...
Usually the last moment where they realize they have been caught ids that moment when they tunr to see if anyone caught their accident and they catch the eyes of the viewer...

Wonderful approach and shot going on with your set-up...

Wanda Beautiful as ever...
Wm.- you do always catch every moment with such joy and feeling in the image...

Thanks....

Look's like Wanda is coming up from a tinkle in the woods.
Guest 04-Oct-2006 00:09
Mmmmm, cheese...

Great picture! One thing I couldn't help thinking was "I wonder what kind of outtakes occur when you make this kind of picture?" Could they be even more, um... cheesy?

Sorry, getting hungry now...

Finally, we now know what all those camera guys, with tangled tripod legs and the M&G hats pulled backwards are pointing their big stove pipes at in the far off bushes. A Yellowstone Bare!!!
