Ox Bow On Rainy Dawn 05_23_06.jpg

Here is a photo from our last morning of the Yellowstone Photographer's 2006 Meet and Greet. Light was kind of poor and the mountain tops were covered in clouds. Even with the less than ideal conditions we all had a great time.

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
1s f/18.0 at 95.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Viewing this shot on a less bright screne really brought out the contraast in the clouds! Very nicley handled! -BJ

Your finish enhances this moody shot of the power of nature at play. Excellent.

OK, here is the anticipated 20D vs 5D preference question.

What are your perceptions now that you have upgraded to the "Five-Dee" and used it for a few weeks. I own the 10D body and several L lenses. Is the smart move in today's market (05/27/2006) to skip to the 30D, nab a 20D at bargain or save my sheckles for a 5D? I am sure that the end goal of the photographer~ the purpose to which the camera will be used is the obvious driving force. Budget is the key for most of us.
