We planned to take another photo outside in the canyon today. By late afternoon it was beginning to get gray and cloudy and by the time we got to the canyon it was raining lightly. We decided to scrap that idea and do something at home in the studio.

what I remember about this image was that I was really bummed out that our plans had been foiled by the weather and we ended up in the studio. I had a hard time getting comfortable for this shot. What you can't see in the frame is that I am kneeling on the ground and propping My body up on a small table covered with a black sheet. The table wasn't the right height for My body, so I really had to work at it a bit to get My body positioned such that the angle of My head made Bill happy. And I never was happy with the positioning of My hand. No matter where I put it or how I held My fingers, I just always thought it was a bit of a distraction. Oh well, we fullfilled our obligatory shoot for that day so I was happy! (s) Wanda

Nice port. It's all about the hair. I really like how Wanda's hair flows around to the front of the image. Bill I also like the even light across her face and shoulders. I see one light source. Did you bounce thru the umbrella or use any reflectors?

Nice thing to fall back on (the studio that is!) I shot several things for my PaD but nothing moved me so I went to the archives to make my post.
