First Day of Winter 2010.jpg

Well it is snowing here. Not any great art, it is just a snap shot out the backdoor. It is still dark but the camera can turn night into day. in a bit I'll get dressed and go poke a yard stick into the snow to see how much we've got in the last 24 hours.

I'll second what Craig said, I was hoping for our annual Wandaful Christmas photo, but the snow reminds me why we're going to Florida for a Carribean cruise tomorrow. Hopefully my Christmas present will be waiting for me when I get back. :-) (I don't access the internet, or my phone while I'm on vacation) MERRY CHRISTMAS to the Bates family.

Ok, enough with the cold weather and the snow. I want to see Wanda wearing as little as she is comfortable with. And I'm not willing to risk any of Wnada's bits and pieces to frostbite, so enough with the cold and snow already. If nothing else, take another vacation in Mexico and show us the pictures.

Enough ranting and pouting. Looks very pretty.......enjoy.

Steve,

The yardstick measured 20 inches in our front yard and 22 inches in our daughters yard just 3 blocks away. It continued to snow all day long, but it was a fine, wet snow, so it just weighed down the heavy, wet snow that had fallen earlier. The temps were above freezing so even though it snowed all day, the depth didn't get any deeper. We'll see what we wake up to in the morning. For now, the driveway is cleared and the walks are all shoveled!
