Parker GH 03_11_10.jpg

This is my "new to me" Parker Bros. GH 12 Gauge. This lovely old shotgun was built in 1924. When I first saw it, it was covered in a layer of brown rust. It kind of broke my heart. I spent a few hours cleaning off the brown crud and found a pretty nice shotgun under that layer of rust. The bores is a mirror bright and the wood finish is in excellent condition. The gun is mechanically very sound. The barrels are beautiful Damascus steel.

Hi Mr. Bates. How was your day? Can Wanda come out and play? :-)

Oh, no, another Wanda drought! Nice gun however, you captured the detail very well... good job!

Just like the one I have that was my Grandfathers, right down to the engraving. After your last shotgun image I had planned to make an image of mine and send to you. You just beat me to it.

You learn something new every day. The only Parker Bros. product I was familiar with before this photo was the game of Monopoly :-)

John,

IF ONLY! (laffin) If Bill needed a signed permission slip from me every time he wanted a gun, his safe would be empty! Lucky for him, I am quick to forgive. . . . and he knows it, that's why he gets away with his bad habits.

Before you can keep it we will need to see an approval authorization signed by Wanda.
