Wanda Mother nature animal test 05_01_09.jpg

Here is a shot from yesterday's kind of spur of the moment shoot. It is headed where I want but its not what I really have in my head. I'm imagining something more animal-ish for this Mother nature photo. Like maybe a startled deer or wild horse running. This is beginning to work but the arm postion isn't right and Wanda's head is maybe just a little too turned. The light was a little to flat yesterday. We will need to do this again. I'll take a few days and ponder what needs to be changed and then we'll try again with the 5D and the 70-200 f/2.8.

I love the concept. Can't wait to see the final product. This mother nature series really is awesome and my favorite of your work. Really artistic!!!! You need to sell a book of these.

Wanda, don't worry about the 'bits' showing. You don't have to post every picture he takes, although most of us wold love to see all of them. When I started in photography I read that a photographer should be happy if he gets one picture from a roll that he really likes. 35mm and medium format days. You are right that Bill is spoiled by such a fine model.

Wanda, like most women you are far too critical of yourself. Believe me you'll know when you're actually too old for this stuff, because your admirers will stop clamoring to see more of you. Although the current saying is that 40 is the new 30, in your case 50 will be the new 30. I have never seen a woman in her 20s or 30s who is any sexier than you are in your 40s.

I have always been captivated by Wanda's beauty and vivaciousness and will cintinue to welcome shots of her in any form, any attire, as long as we see that gorgeous smile that loves life to the fullest!!!

Wanda, I hear you, even if everyone else doesn't. Women are like cars, fast ones, elegant ones, vintage models etc. Wanda is all of these, and more. But, I hear her saying she is getting "old" for the types of shots Bill wants, and we admirers of Bill and Wanda's work have come to expect (because we have been spoilt, for too long?). Bill, what I here is Wanda saying she would like us all to see her now as something more elegant, meaning more elegant shots, that are easier for Bill to take, and Wanda to model for? Which means that we admirers may have to reduce our expectations a little? Food for thought, by we admirers? Let the debate begin?

Wanda, you most assuredly are not too old for this kind of stuff. You are just hitting your stride. How did Bill get your hair like that? I notice that the bushes are not leaning in that direction, so it can not be the wind.

love Wanda comment despite I do not agree with that part of the old....
a photographer that knows exatly what he wants...that is fantastic to.

I don't know what you are talking about Bill, looks like a damn perfect shot to me.... your model is as gorgeous as ever. Jv V!

alrighty then, next time I'll have to trust that a bush is covering My "bits" so that I can reposition My arms to make the photographer happy. He is so spoiled and I am getting too old for this kinda stuff.
