The Purple Toffee Nebula in Gemini

Optics: CPC1100 at f6.3 on a Milburn Wedge
Camera: DSI II Pro with Astronomik Type 2c LRGB filters
Image scale: 1 arcsec/pixel
Exposure: 196:40:40:40. Five minute luminance subs, two minute color subs.
Guiding: PHD Guiding, using a DMK21AU04.AS on a Taurus Tracker III off axis guider. Dithering performed with Nebulosity 2.
Date: Luminance January 5, 2011 with the C11, color February 2010 with the C8
Processing: Stacked with Deep Sky Stacker, post-processed with Photoshop CS2.

This was a test to compare the sensitivity of the DSI to the QHY8. Guiding is much easier with the DSI than with the DMK21.
