I only went out to look at a new kitchen…


Had to stop off on the way, because an 80 year old woman
collapsed on the pavement as I drove past. Thank goodness
I had my mobile phone and could call for an ambulance.

After that, I only had the heart to do one kitchen showroom,
and it all got a bit overwhelming. Choice of colours, woods,
worktops - you think I’d enjoy it. But I don’t.
It all seems so tedious, and I keep think how each mad price
equates to lenses and new cameras. [sigh]

I tried to make the most of the opportunity and used it to test
a new Panasonic LX2 I’m trying out as a stealth, candid camera.
It seems to take some good shots, but I still
don't know whether to keep it. Will I ever resolve the candid
shooting problem?

Anyway, someone tell me - what's the latest in funky, arty
kitchens, I don't want to put myself through this for at least
30 years. Please put me out of my misery.
